So many dignitaries both members of the staff and student leaders as well inviited
guest showed up at the 2016 FUNAAB RAMADAN LECTURE chaired by RT. Hon demeji BANKOLE the former speaker of national assembly .
The gathering surprisingly saw the attendance of the vice-chancellor of the university Prof olusola Oyewole with the deputy-vice Chancellor Prof. Eremosele and some principal officers of the university.
The Ramadan lecture was delivered by Engr. (Dr.) Taofeek A. Abdul Hameed the Chief Imam, Muslim Community, Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun State. He stressed out to Muslims on how to make use of Ramadan fasting judiciously.
The mouth watering part of the event was when the donation for the development of the university mosque started and the chairman of the event in name of demeji bankole donated 25 million naira to the development of the gigantic project.
Other donations includes 1 million naira from Dr salisu a former Librarian of the university and another from the Muslim students alumni. The students Union ,lectures and invited guests also donated their own quota to the development of the project
