Information reaching us states that academic staff uion of universites (Unaab chapter ) last week fined the vice -
chancellor Prof oyewole a total of 10 million naira for the postponement of Prof onifade inaugural lecture where so many resources had been put in place.
Information gathered states that the Prof already killed a cow and cooked for both invited and non invited guest before it was suspended till further notice due to the NASU strike earlier last week.
Since Prof onifade is a member of asuu , this made asuu order the VC to pay 10m naira to compensate him as new date has not be made known to the public.
